Advocate for technology improvements within taxi industry, including credit card acceptance within all vehicles and GPS tracking of vehicles requested. 

 

SFMTA Taxi Services’ new Director Kate Toran has committed to improving technology within the taxi industry in order to better serve residents and stay competitive with rideshare services. SFMTA will provide our office with a report on technology advancements for taxi service in fall 2015. We look forward to sharing those recommendations with residents and working with SFMTA to implement further improvements.
