Continue working with City Departments to ensure visibility along densely vegetated areas, including the Great Highway, Lincoln Way and Sunset Boulevard. 

 

Over the past year, we have been working closely with SF Public Works to develop a plan to provide much-needed resources to the maintenance of Sunset Boulevard. We are excited to announce that our office has secured $400,000 over the next two years exclusively for the maintenance of Sunset Boulevard, which includes properly maintaining and trimming the dense vegetation along the corridor.

 

We have also worked with neighbors to improve visibility along the lower Great Highway, particularly around the Noriega and Moraga intersections. Neighbors contacted our office due to the dense vegetation that was shielding encampments and drug use. The Recreation and Parks Department immediately responded and worked with residents over several weeks to improve the visibility of the area. This is an ongoing effort for our office.
