Continue to provide opportunities for property owners to engage with the Planning Department and Department of Building Inspection in the Sunset District.

 

Each February, our office hosts a workshop with staff from the Department of Building Inspection and the Planning Department so residents can easily access resources from these departments within our neighborhood. This year, we continued the effort and department staff fielded questions regarding the legalization of in-law units; short-term rentals; replacement of gate doors; and much more. We also continued to offer the ability for residents to make one-on-one appointments with department staff. Based on the positive feedback we have received, our office will continue holding these workshops in the Sunset.

 

Our office is always open to suggestions for additional educational opportunities for residents. Please let us know if there is a department you would like to access in our neighborhood.
