Work with Department of Public Works to target neighborhood improvements and outreach. 

 

Earlier this year, our office announced along with SF Public Works, Recology and 311, that residents can now request a bulky item pickup through 311. Recognizing that illegal dumping continues to be a problem throughout the City, our office worked to reduce barriers for residents in accessing free bulky item pick-up services. Prior to our effort, residents had to call Recology directly to schedule a pick-up. Now, residents need only remember to call 3-1-1, where 311 customer service agents will handle the request.
